Prometheus Endeavor (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of Personal Information you provide as a requirement for conducting legitimate business. Personal Information is information identifiable to an individual.
This Privacy Notice and Disclaimer (“Notice”) describes our practices regarding the collection and use of information from you.  It also acknowledges your privacy rights.  Because information privacy is an ongoing responsibility, we will update our Notice as we undertake new information collection and processing practices.

Use of the PrometheusEndeavor.org Website

Automated Data Collection

Like most other websites, our website automatically collects information that is stored in log files. This information may include IP addresses, computing device type, operating system information, screen resolution, color and depth of browser, access times, pages viewed, and the referral page used to access the website. We collect this information for the following reasons: (1) to improve the design of our site; (2) to diagnose problems with the infrastructure supporting our website; and (3) to analyze trends, such a visitor page paths, which will assist us in identifying visitor preferences.

Use of Cookies

We only store cookies to track anonymous usage of our website.  Our cookies store no personal information.

Information We Collect and How it is Used

We collect information you willingly share with us: (1) Personal Information you enter when you submit a question or suggestion using the “Contact Us” form; and (2) Comments you enter on a blog post.

Personal Information

The Personal Information we collect from you is limited to name, email address and phone number.Your Personal Information is used solely to address your comments, suggestions, or requests.

This information is shared only by members of the Prometheus Endeavor, and only on a “business need to know” basis. Your Personal Information is not shared with or sold to third parties.

Blog Post Comments

Blog Post comments are information which you willingly share with us. We discourage the unnecessary posting of Personal Information in blog posts.  We reserve the right to remove blog posts that are offensive to race, gender, age, political orientation, and religious preference, among other considerations.

Information from Children

We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy online.  We do not knowingly attempt to solicit or receive information from children.

Information We Share

No Disclosures Except for Legitimate Business Processing Purposes

Prometheus Endeavor will not publish or disclose any customer Personal Information to any third party with the exception of the following Sub-Processors, who will help process this information to support our Service: (1) Bluehost (server hosting); and (2) Google (email hosting).

Social Media

Prometheus Endeavor offers sharing features such as emailing blog posts directly to an email address, downloading and exporting blog posts or sharing blog posts with another social media service. Once the information has been shared with another individual or social media company, the use and protection of that information is governed by that individual’s or company’s privacy policies and practices.

Legal Requests

We will disclose your information to a government agency or other entity only if the request is required by and in accordance with an applicable law, rule, or regulation.

How We Protect Your Information

We maintain a Privacy and Security Policy, which all Prometheus Endeavor members are required to review, discuss, and acknowledge annually.  Our Privacy and Security Policy includes physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access and use.  It also specifies technical controls for our server hosting provider to protect our website, including intrusion monitoring and patching.

Your Privacy Responsibilities

You are responsible for submitting ONLY your Personal Information that is necessary to engage with us, and via the prescribed technological methods (e.g., use of the Contact Form).  You are forbidden to post the Personal Information of anyone else.

Your Privacy Rights

International laws and regulations (e.g., the EU General Data Protection Regulation) and US state laws (e.g. the California Consumer Privacy Act) afford individuals who provide Personal Information (“Data Subjects”) various privacy rights.  For both citizens of these jurisdictions and all those visiting our site, you are afforded the following rights, which you may exercise at any time:
